The President of the Portuguese Business Confederation, Armindo Monteiro, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan, Ahmad Warraich. During the meeting, topics such as labour mobility, the trade relationship between both countries, energy and technology were addressed.
In 2021, Portugal exported 22.3 million euros in goods and imported 200 million euros. Therefore, there is considerable potential for increasing Portuguese exports to Pakistan.
